Odisha: Man beats wife to death with iron rod

Keonjhar: Family feud led to a tragic end after a man beat his wife to death in Joda police station area of Keonjhar district late last night.

However, police have detained accused Kamlesh Yadav, a resident of Ward-9 in Kamarjoda area of the district.

Sources said an altercation had erupted between the couple over some  family issues last night.  In a fit of rage, Kamlesh took an iron rod and started beating her killing her on the spot.  On receiving information, Joda police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. The cops detained the accused and are interrogating him in this connection.
