Odisha man dies of COVID-19 in Mumbai

Bhubaneswar: A man hailing from Hinjilicut area in Odisha’s Ganjam district died of COVID-19 in Mumbai yesterday.

According to reports, the deceased was working in a private company in the city and residing at his uncle’s house in Chembur area of Mumbai for the last five years.

He was admitted to hospital two days ago after his swab sample tested positive for COVID-19. Later, his condition deteriorated and he breathed his last in the morning. His uncle and kin with whom he was staying have been placed under quarantine, reports said.

A pall of gloom descended on the deceased’s village after his death.
