Odisha man held for circulating obscene video of ex-girlfriend

Jajpur: The Jajpur police have arrested a man for allegedly circulating obscene video of his ex-girlfriend on WhatsApp. The accused has been identified as Prabhat Nayak (32) of Khairabad village under Jajpur Sadar police limits.

According to reports, Prabhat was in a relationship with a girl six years ago when the two were working for a private company at Panikoili in the district. During the period, he had recorded an obscene video of the girl.

After the relationship ended, Prabhat married another girl. Recently, the accused came to know about the marriage proposal of his ex-girlfriend with a person, following which he sent the video to the family members of that person on WhatsApp.

On the basis of a complaint lodged by the girl, police registered a case and apprehended Prabhat after conducting raids at various places.
