Odisha: Man killed, body dumped on village road in Mayurbhanj

Baripada: A man was allegedly murdered and the body was dumped on road at Purnachandrapur village under Morada police limits in Mayurbhanj district, last night.

The deceased has been identified as Dillip Kumar Mahanta. He was staying at his in-laws’ house for the last two years.

As per the allegations of his family members, he was killed by a miscreant who later dumped the body on road on the outskirts of the village. Locals spotted the body this morning and informed the police.

Cops have recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem. Investigation into the matter is underway to ascertain the circumstances under which Dillip died.
