Odisha man kills brother over affair with wife

Keonjhar: A man paid a big price for having love affair with his cousin’s wife as he was killed after being attacked with a bow and arrow.

The incident took place Lakshminarayanpur village under Telkoi police station in Keonjhar district of Odisha.

The deceased has been identified as Jitu Munda.

According to reports, Jitu Munda had fallen in love with his sister-in-law, wife of his cousin brother Shankar Munda. Despite his brother’s repeated warning, Jitu continued to live in a relationship with sister-in-law.

Source said that Jitu had kept his sister-in-law at his home as his wife 15 days ago. Strongly reacting to it, Shankar was waiting for an opportunity to eliminate his cousin, who was his uncle’s son.

On Friday, when Jitu along with Shankar’s nephew (sister’s son) parked a tractor in front of Shankar’s house, the later attacked Jitu with a bow and arrow that hit his chest. The victim dies on the spot.

After committing the crime, accused Shankar surrendered before the police at Kaliahati Outpost.
