Odisha man kills wife, commits suicide

Paralakhemundi: A man allegedly murdered his wife and committed suicide over family feud in Mohana area of Odisha’s Gajapati district today.

The accused hacked his wife to death with an axe after an exchange of words erupted between the two over family dispute.

Later, he committed suicide by hanging himself. On being informed by locals, Mohana police reached the spot, recovered the bodies and started investigation. The husband of the woman was mentally-challenged, sources said.
