Odisha man kills wife, dumps body in forest

Sundergarh:  A woman was beaten to death by her husband over family dispute at Tikilipada Village under Badagaon police limits in Sundergarh district.

The incident that occurred a few days ago came to fore today after police arrested the accused husband identified as Kapil Tappo.

Sources said Kapil beat his wife Sharmila to death and later dumped the body in a nearby forest. During interrogation, the accused confessed to his crime.

Further investigation into the incident is on, police said.
