Odisha man kills wife over delay in cooking

Udala: A man allegedly killed his wife over dealy on her part in cooking at Patharakhani village under Kaptipada police limits in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.

According to reports, a heated exchange of words erupted between Julu Bhakta and his wife Nini last night as he expressed displeasure alleging delay in cooking by her.

The incident took an ugly turn as the accused lost his cool and thrashed his wife to death with a wooden plank. He absconded soon after committing the crime.

Police have recovered the body for post-mortem and efforts were on by cops to trace and apprehend the accused.
