Odisha Matric Exam-2021: Students to answer 80 marks of question for each paper

Bhubaneswar: Class-X students will answer 80 marks of question for each subject during the Odisha Matric Exam-2021, informed School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash today.

The papers will comprise 50 marks of objective and 30 marks of subjective questions. However, the evaluation will be done for 100 marks as the marks for the rest 20 will be awarded as per the marks obtained by a student for 80 marks of question, the minister said.

The results will be declared within 45-50 days of conclusion of the examinations, he added.

The state government had yesterday announced reopening of schools and higher secondary schools for Class 10 and 12 students, respectively. Classes will be held for Class 10 students from January 8 to April 26 whereas Class 12 students will attend their classes from January 8 to April 28.

Practical exam of Class 10 students will be held from April 27 to May 2 and the same for Class 12 students will be held from April 29 to May 14.

The board exam of Class 10 students will be held from May 3 to 15. The Council of Higher Secondary Education will hold exams for Class 12 students from May 15 to June 11.
