Odisha Matric Exam: BSE withdraws notification on form fill-up

Bhubaneswar: Following the direction of Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) today withdrew its notification on form fill-up for Matric Examination-2021.

In the fresh notification, BSE said the form fill- up process for the annual exam has been deferred till further orders from the concerned department.

The board’s previous notification regarding the form fill-up was released on November 5. Late on November 6, Minister Samir Ranjan Dash directed BSE President Ramashis Hazra to withdraw the notification.

After release of the board’s previous notification, the BSE had drawn flak from students, parents and teachers for conduct of the examination when the syllabus is yet to commence amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
