Odisha Matric exam: Evaluation of answer sheets after lockdown period, says min

Bhubaneswar: Evaluation of answer sheets of the annual Matric examinations conducted by the Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) will be done after conclusion of the lockdown period on May 3, said School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash today.

Earlier, the evaluation process was postponed after announcement of countrywide lockdown till April 14 for coronavirus outbreak. The lockdown was today extended till May 3.

The minister further informed that textbooks for students from class-I to class-VIII will be delivered to them at their houses by teachers by April 25. A direction in this regard has been issued to the Block Education Officers and District Education Officers.
