Bhubaneswar: Even as the Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) took several measures to check leak of Matric exam question papers on social media, multiple pages of a question-cum-answer booklet of First Language Odia (FLO) subject allegedly surfaced on social media today and went viral on the first day of the examinations.
Photos of pages of the booklet reportedly circulated on WhatsApp in Dharamgarh area of Kalahandi district before conclusion of the examination.
On the other hand, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Das said he was unaware of the incident. “The matter will be probed and action will be taken against anyone found guilty,” he said.
Worth mentioning, to check leak of question papers on social media, the board has restricted use of mobile phones in examination centres. Teaching and non-teaching staff of examination centres, invigilators, supervisors and squad personnel have been restricted from mobile phone usage inside the examination centres.
