Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) declared the results of annual Matriculation examination at its office here today.
The total pass percentage stands at 70.78 % as against
76.23 % last year. While 5,87,720 students had appeared for the exam this year, 3,97,125 have cleared the exam this year. The pass rate for regular students stands at 71.35 % and 37.43% for ex-regular students.

Like previous year, girls have outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 51.73 % as against 48.26 % of their counterparts.
While 82 schools across the state have scored nil results, 289 schools registered cent percent results in the board exam. Jharsuguda recorded the highest pass percentage of 85.48 % followed by Balasore and Nabarangpur with 85.21 % and 81.80 %, respectively. Koraput recorded the lowest pass percentage of 50.61 %.
The results are also be on official websites-bseodisha.nic.in, bseodisha.ac.in. Students are advised to log on to these official websites to know their scores. Besides, students can also type OR10 (space) Roll Number and send SMS to 5676750 to know their results.
School and Mass Education Department secretary Pradipta Mohapatra said students can apply for rechecking online within 10 days from May 24.
