Odisha Matric Supplementary Exam from Sept 14: 22,649 students to appear at 153 centres

Bhubaneswar: A total of 22649 students will appear in the HSC Supplementary Examination 2020, conducted by Board of Secondary Education (BSE), scheduled to begin on September 14.

The exam will be held at 153 centres across the state,informed School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash today. Besides, 12,939 students will appear in the State Open School Certificate Examination, which will also begin on the same day, at 88 centres.

Both the examinations will continue till September 24. All centre Superintendents have been asked to strictly follow COVID-19 guidelines during the examinations, the Minister added.

The Board has sought cooperation from all the district administrations,  police administration and teachers for smooth conduct of the examinations in adherence to COVID-19 guidelines.

Collectors of all districts have been requested to extend support for smooth conduct of the examinations. District Education Officers (DEOs) have been asked to make necessary arrangements for sanitization of the exam centres each day after conduct of the exam. Besides, tight security arrangements will be made at the examination centres.

The answer-sheets of the Supplementary exam will be evaluated at 13 centres and of Open School Certificate Examination at seven centres.
