The Matric supplementary examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha began at 45 centres across the state today.

Nearly 12,000 students are appearing in the exams, sources said. The board has decided to allot 15 minutes extra time to students for the Mathematics paper.
All the centres have already been provided with question papers and OMR sheets, sources added.
Less number of students are appearing the exams this year as compared to last year as a total of 18,006 students had appeared in the supplementary test in 2015.
