Bhubaneswar: Newly-appointed Odisha minister Dibya Shankar Mishra has been given additional portfolio of Minister of State (MoS), Home Department.

Mishra was yesterday allocated portfolio of MoS, Energy; Industries; Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises departments while Cabinet Minister Prafulla Kumar Mallik was given the charge of Steel & Mines and Works departments besides being appointed as MoS, Home.

However, a Cabinet Minister can't serve as a MoS as per norms, for which Mishra has been alloted the additional charge.
