Rout questioned why were experts and the medical team mum over the deadly fever and why were they not discussing the technical aspects of the killer fever.

“Why medical experts are silent on the issue? Why are only administrators making statements on the issue? Why its technical aspects are not being discussed? Why a conclave is not being held on the issue?” asked Rout.

“Is Japanese Encephalitis a seasonal disease like dengue? Why immunization in December?” he further asked.

The Minister said there is a need for creating awareness on the disease by experts at this hour to contain it.
