Odisha miniature artist congratulates Joe Biden through his art

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the oath-taking ceremony of  US President elect Joe Biden, Odisha’s noted miniature artist L Eswar Rao has crafted a miniature of Biden inside a glass bottle.

The artist used his craftmanship to extend his best wishes to the US President elect. The miniature carried a photo of Biden along with a message reading ‘congratulations’.

It is pertinent to mention here that Joe Biden and his Deputy Kamala Harris will be sworn in as 46th President and 49th Vice-President of the United States later today. Kamala Harris  will make history as America’s first woman and first Black to take the office of Vice-President.

Earlier, the Bhubaneswar-based artist has created several miniatures, including a miniature art of Sardar Vallabhai Patel using soap on National Unity Day in 2018,  a church inside a bottle for Christmas in 2019 and a woman’s miniature on a pencil nib as a tribute to all women on the occasion of International Women’s Day last year.
