Phulbani: Odisha Minister Pratap Jena fell ill during his tour to Phulbani today. He will be airlifted to Bhubaneswar, informed ADMO Dr. Abhay Patnaik.
Currently, a team of doctors is attending to the minister at Phulbani circuit house. He will be brought to Bhubaneswar through an air ambulance.
Jena had undergone COVID-19 antigen test whose repot came negative. His RT-PCR test report is awaited, Dr. Patnaik said.
Sources said that Jena is suffering from fever and complained of trouble breathing.
The Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water, Law, Housing & Urban Development Minister Pratap Jena is on a trip to Kandhamal district since October 28.
