Odisha: Minor girl goes missing while taking bath in river; search ops on

Jajpur: A Class X girl student has gone missing while taking bath in Tantighai river in Jajpur district today. As per reports, the girl, Saita Begum (14) was a student of Rudracharan High School.

Family members of the girl said while taking bath in the river, she was caught in deep water. Later she was swept away in the river’s strong current. Some of her family members who were present near the spot could do little to save her.

After receiving information, Fire Service personnel reached spot and launched a search operation to trace the minor girl. Till the last report came in, whereabouts of the girl were not known.
