Odisha MLA Dibya Shankar Mishra ties knot; see pics here

Puri: Odisha MLA from Junagarh Assembly Constituency Captain Dibya Shankar Mishra tied the nuptial knot with Priyanka Agasti as per Hindu tradition here today.

A few hours after their ring ceremony, The BJD legislator got married to Priyanka Agasti, a resident of Dekota village under Golamunda block of Kalahandi district, at a resort in Puri in presence of their family members and close relatives.

Earlier in the day, the couple’s engagement ceremony was held at the same venue. This was the second marriage for both Dibya Shankar and Priyanka.

According to media reports, Dibya Shankar had earlier married a woman from Jaipatna area in Kalahandi district. Later, he divorced his wife. The couple has a son, who is studying abroad.

Mishra was in the news for wrong reasons when he was the Minister of State for Home. He was dragged into controversy following murder of Mahaling School teacher Mamita Meher. The opposition members had demanded his resignation over his alleged links with prime accused Govind Sahu.
