Odisha: ‘Mo Chhatua’ app, website launched for THR management

Bhubaneswar: Women & Child Development Minister Tukuni Sahu has launched the ‘Mo Chhatua’ mobile phone application and website to bring in speed and transparency in Take Home Ration(THR) indenting, distribution and improvement in its quality under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS).

Through this app, the ICDS supervisor will send online indents per Anganwadi centre to CDPO, who in turn shall send online approval of the same to the SHG making chhatua.

SHG’s activities like purchase of ingredients and mixing will be tracked on the MIS and dashboard for better monitoring.

Fixed day has been earmarked for mixing of ingredients when supervisor will be mandatorily present and upload pictures using the app. The units will be geo-tagged.

The website/MIS/application will facilitate real-time monitoring of indenting, production and distribution of THR and payment to SHGs producing the same. It will also bring in transparency in THR management and ensure quality of products.
