Bhubaneswar: The family of a deceased man under financial crunch was provided free hearse services today by Odisha-Mo Parivar, a charitable organisation of Bhubaneswar.
The 57-year-old patient’s body was carried from Bhubaneswar to his native place at Totapada village in Mayurbhanj district. The man identified as Ranjit Dhar Mohapatra had been suffering from kidney-related ailments and was being treated in Capital Hospital here. Unfortunately, Ranjit succumbed yesterday evening while undergoing treatment at the government-run health facility.
After the bereaved family members contacted Odisha-Mo Parivar seeking help, the NGO joint secretary Rudranarayan Samantaray reached the hospital and assisted the family in their time of need.
Ranjit’s family thanked Odisha-Mo Parivar and the office-bearers for their generosity.
