Odisha model makes it to Times 50 Most Desirable Women

Bhubaneswar: She made headlines, sashaying down Grand Road in Puri during a fashion shoot a few days ago. She proudly represented Odisha in  fbb Colors Femina Miss India this summer. Meet Odisha model Christeena Biju, who is again in news for making it to the coveted bracket of Times 50 Most Desirable Women in India.

Christeena, a second-year undergrad student of Textile Designing at NIFT (Bhubaneswar), is sharing space with the gorgeous Kareena Kapoor Khan, stunning Katrina Kaif, tennis sensation Sania Mirza, celebrated squash player Dipika Pallikal Karthik, Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar, singer Neeti Mohan, seductive supermodel Lisa Haydon, television superstars Hina Khan and Mouni Roy, musician and entrepreneur Ananya Birla, to name a few.

“It is amazing! I didn’t even know I was included in the list until I saw it online! It is a dream come true. The nomination itself is an achievement for me!” said an excited Christeena, in an exclusive chat with Odisha Sun Times.

fbb Colors Femina Miss Odisha 2017, Christeena, had a fascination for modelling/fashion since childhood. She has a special interest in arts and crafts and is also a travel enthusiast.

“Currently, I have my hands full with numerous fashion shoots and shows. I am really looking forward to foray into Tollywood as I am also looking at taking up acting as a career option. However, modelling will always remain my first love,” she said.

The list curated by Times of India, has 50 women who are filled with panache, style and have their A-game in their handbags along with oodles of confidence in their fields of expertise, such as cinema, sports, television, beauty pageants and modelling.

Bold, beautiful and brainy, these women are vying for the top spot of being India’s most desirable woman in 2017. While some are fresh faces on the block, who have been recent newsmakers, others are reigning achievers. These 50 bold, beautiful and accomplished ladies are open for online voting till December 31.

Srinidhi Ramesh Shetty (Miss Supranational 2016) swept the polls last year and emerged winner.
