Odisha: Molestation slur against former CMC corporator
Cuttack: A minor girl has accused a former corporator of Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) of molesting her at his residence in the city.
As per a complaint filed by the father of the girl with Malgodown police, she had gone to the house of accused Hemant Behera yesterday evening. The ex-corporator misbehaved with her and sexually harassed her at his house.

The girl opposed the act and returned home, where she narrated her ordeal to her father.
“Investigation into the matter is underway. A case has been registered in this connection. Efforts are on to apprehend the accused, who absconded after the incident,” said Cuttack DCP Akhileshvar Singh.
