Odisha: Moving coal-laden truck catches fire due to short circuit

Angul: A moving truck loaded with coal caught fire near Pitabali Chhak under Nisha police limits in Angul district late last night.

However, the truck driver managed to get off and escape the spot before the vehicle was engulfed by the flames.

Sources said the truck caught fire due to a short circuit. A major explosion was averted in the mishap as fire brigade officials rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
