The special Chief Judicial Magistrate court here today allowed the CBI to take the three politicians it arrested yesterday in connection with the Odisha chit fund scam – BJD MP from Mayurbhanj Ramchandra Hansda, former BJD MLA from Keonjhar Subarna Nayak and former BJP MLA Hitesh Bagarti –on a six day remand for interrogation.

Earlier in the day, they were produced by the CBI at the special Chief Judicial Magistrate court here after a team of doctors from the Capital Hospital conducted a health check-up of the three.
