Odisha MP Nitesh Ganga Deb’s wife Arundhati Devi joins BJD

Sambalpur: Arundhati Devi, the wife of Sambalpur BJP MP Nitesh Ganga Deb, today joined Biju Janata Dal (BJD). The woman from Deogarh royal family was accompanied by her son Naman Ganga Deb, who also joined the ruling party in the presence of BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik and other leaders.

Both Arundhati and Naman were included in the evening as primary members of the party.

Worth mentioning, sitting MP Nitesh was elected to the lower house of the Parliament from Sambalpur segment in 2019 General Elections as a member of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

On March 24, BJP announced its first list of 18 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in Odisha.

The saffron party fielded Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan from the Sambalpur seat.
