Odisha: New train to be introduced between Bhubaneswar-New Delhi via Keonjhar

Bhubaneswar: A new train is to run between Bhubaneswar and New Delhi via Keonjhar district and the train service will be introduced soon, an official communiqué of Union Railway Minister Ashwini Kumar Vaishnaw written to Keonjhar BJP MLA and senior leader Mohan Charan Majhi revealed today.

According to the official source, Keonjhar MLA Majhi had previously written a letter on November 8, last year, demanding a new train service to New Delhi via Keonjhar for public convenience.

There was a long-standing demand for the train service by residents of the district and it has been approved. However, details of the timings as to when the train would run are yet to be announced.
