Odisha: Nine arrested in connection with Balipatna group clash

Balipatna: As many as nine persons were arrested and sent to jail for their alleged involvement in a group clash in Marthapur village under Balipatna police limits.

Based on two complaints filed at the Balipatna police station, the nine persons were arrested today. After the court rejected their bail pleas today, the accused were sent to the judicial custody. The accused were Sanjay Bhoi, Bharat Bhoi, Bulu Bhoi, Luna Bhoi, Prasanna Bhoi, Nabaghana Bhoi, Chhabi Bhoi, Hemant Bhoi and Dija Bhoi.

Yesterday, two groups clashed over property dispute in Marthapur village during which 12 persons from both the sides were injured.
