Puri: Devotees will not be allowed to pay obeisance to the Holy Trinity at Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri during Nagarjuna Besha of the deities. A decision was taken in this regard during a meeting of the Srimandir Niti Sub-Committee today.
In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, the sub-committee decided not to allow Nagarjuna Besha darshan on November 27, 2020.
It is worth to be mentioned the Nagarjuna Besha of the Holy Trinity falls in every 25 years.
Earlier in the day, the Puri district administration imposed restrictions on the visit Habisyalis to the pilgrim city during the holy month of Kartika. The district administration requested Habisyalis not to visit the city unless it is completely necessary.
