Bhubaneswar: A senior OFS officer has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) in Odisha.
Senior OFS officer Umesh Chandra Tripathy, who was earlier working as FA-cum-Additional Secretary to Steel & Mines department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the office of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, said a notification issued by the Finance Department.
The state government yesterday appointed senior OAS officer Chitrasen Rout as Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister. Rout was earlier serving as the Additional Secretary to Works Department.
A few days ago, the state government had appointed senior OAS officer Trilochan Mohanty as the Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Mohanty was earlier serving as the Keonjhar Sub-Collector. Incidentally, Keonjhar is the home district of Chief Minister Majhi.
Similarly, Satish Chandra Samal, who was earlier working as the senior private secretary of the Home Department cadre, was appointed as the Additional Private Secretary to the Chief Minister.
