Odisha: One more dengue patient dies at SCB Medical, toll reaches 7

Cuttack: One more patient undergoing treatment at the dengue ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital in Odisha’s Cuttack died today.

With this, the dengue death toll at SCB Medical this year mounted to seven, official sources said.

The deceased has been identified as Sukanta Pandi, 26, of Jobra in the district. He was admitted to the hospital on October 30.

The patient having multi organ failure expired at 3 pm today, a statement issued by the hospital said.

Hospital sources said that more than 90 dengue patients are now undergoing treatment at SCB Medical here.
