Jharsuguda: The state-owned Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) is all set to introduce air-conditioned deluxe bus service connecting industrial town of Jharsuguda in Odisha to the Buddhist holy town Gaya in Bihar.
OSRTC declared the introduction of this daily bus service from Feb 15 in an update on its official Twitter handle.

According to reports, two luxury buses will ply between Jharsuguda and Gaya via Sundergarh, Rourkela, Simdega, Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Barhi and Dobhi. Buses will depart from Jharsuguda and Rourkela at 1 pm and 5 pm, respectively and reach Gaya the next day at 4 am, approximately. Similarly, departure time from Gaya to Jharsuguda is scheduled at 4:05 pm.
These hitech buses are equipped with 40 pushback seats and feature free WiFi, mobile charging and CCTV camera.
“Ticket booking at the counter and on the websites will begin tonight,” said Bibekananda Pothal, employed at the ticket booking counter in Jharsuguda bus stand.
