Odisha: Over 10,000 aspirants applied for BJD tickets, says Pranab Prakash Das

Bhubaneswar: More than 10,000 aspirants have applied for Biju Janata Dal (BJD) tickets ahead of the simultaneous Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Odisha.

This was revealed by BJD general secretary (organization) and Jajpur MLA Pranab Prakash Das aka Bobby Das in his Twitter (X) handle today.

“The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has received applications from more than 10,000 aspirants for party tickets ahead of the 2024 polls in Odisha. Many professionals and leaders from a few national parties have submitted their applications for BJD tickets,” wrote Das in his Twitter post.

The BJD general secretary exuded confidence that the ruling party in Odisha, under the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, will register a landslide victory in the upcoming twin polls.

“With the blessings of 4.5 crore Odias, we are confident of retaining power in Odisha in 2024. Our leader Naveen Patnaik will take oath as the Chief Minister of Odisha for the sixth straight term,” he added.
