Bhubaneswar: As many as 38,236 students will appear for the JEE (Main) to be held at 26 centres in Odisha from today.
The test will continue till September 6 at 26 centres in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Balasore, Berhampur, Rourkela, Dhenkanal and Sambalpur.
The exams will be held in two shifts from 9 am to 12 noon, and 3 pm to 6 pm. Around 3,600 candidates will appear for the exam on the first day.
To avoid gathering and maintain social distancing amid COVID-19 situation, examinees have been given different time slot for reporting. The candidates will also undergo thermal screening before their entry into the examination hall.
