Bhubaneswar: People of Odisha want to change the present government led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, affirmed BJP's national president JP Nadda.

"People want to give rest to Naveen Babu and set the governance free from the administration dominated by the administrative system. They want a healthy, active, and young Chief Minister, who can serve them and contribute to bring significant changes in their daily life," said the BJP chief during a roadshow in Bhubaneswar today.

While campaigning for the party's MP candidate Aparajita Sarangi for Bhubaneswar and Babu Singh for the Ekamra-Bhubaneswar Assembly seat, Nadda appeared confident of winning all Lok Sabha seats in Odisha.

"The BJP will win all Lok Sabha seats in Odisha. People of Odisha have vowed to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister for the third consecutive term and decided to bring the BJP into power in Odisha with a two-thirds vote," he said.

When asked about party's change in decision over much talked about BJP-BJD alliance in Odisha, he said that the BJP had already read the mood of people in Odisha. Therefore, the party decided to go solo in the state, stressing that the BJP will come to power both in Odisha and Centre.

"We are heading for majority in Odisha also in Lok Sabha. This time, there will be a double-engine government in Odisha. We will also get simple majority in Lok Sabha," Nadda said.
