Odisha: Plus 3 first cut-off list out; check details

Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education department of Odisha today released the first cut-off marks for admission into undergraduate (Plus 3) courses at various degree colleges and universities in the state.

As per the data uploaded in the Students Academic Management System (SAMS) portal, Fakir Mohan Autonomous College at Balasore posted the highest cut-off percentage in Political Science (91.83), English (91.33) and Physics (94).

Maharaja Purna Chandra Autonomous College at Baripada posted the highest cut-off in Political Science (91.83), Odia (90.67) and Zoology (94.83).

Samanta Chandra Sekhar Autonomous College in Puri registered the highest cut-off percentage in Economics (91), Geography (90.50), Education (90.17), Chemistry (94.50), Mathematics (94) and Botany (95.60).

As per the available data, Ravenshaw University in Cuttack posted the highest cut-off percentage in Commerce (86.83).

Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar Autonomous College in Bhubaneswar recorded the highest cut-off percentage in self-financing courses in Bio-Technology (90.40) and Computer Science (88.67).

Basic Science and Humanities College in Bhubaneswar posted the highest cut-off percentage in self-financing course in Micro-Biology.

According to the data provided by the Higher Education department, altogether 2,23,310 students had applied for admissions into UG courses in Arts, Science and Commerce streams against the total available seats of 2,70,242 for 2023-24 academic year.

As many as 1,74,195 students have been selected for admissions in the first cut-off list.
