Odisha Plus II answer sheets evaluation begins offline

Bhubaneswar: The evaluation of Plus II examination answer sheets commenced offline in Odisha from today.

As many as 11,000 teachers have been assigned to evaluate the answer sheets of Arts stream at 64 evaluation centres. Later, answer sheets of vocational course will be evaluated.

The evaluation process has begun only in 17 centres today. The evaluation will begin in other centres in upcoming days, informed Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE).

In view of COVID-19 pandemic situation, thermal screening of evaluators and sanitisation of evaluation centres have been made mandatory as part of precautionary measure before the evaluation process begins at the allotted centres.

The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education has directed to evaluate the papers between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm.

Earlier, the evaluation of answer sheets of annual Plus II examinations conducted by CHSE was hindered due to COVID-19 lockdown in the State.

Meanwhile, the admission in all the government, government aided, non-aided schools and all types of educational institutions including madrasa and Sanskrit tolls under School & Mass Education Department has begun from today. The enrollment will be made from 7.00 am to 9.30 am everyday.
