Odisha Plus II Arts results to be out today; here’s how to check scores

Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha will declare results of Plus II Arts  Examination-2020 today.

The results will be announced through video conferring at 4 PM today. Students can check their scores on the two official websites orissaresults.nic.in and chseodisha.nic.in.

Here’s how to check scores:

1) Log on to official websites- orissaresults.nic.in/ chseodisha.nic.in

2) Click on the result link, you will be redirected to another page

3) Enter your roll number and registration number

4) Click submit and get your scores

Worth mentioning, over two lakh students had appeared in the examination conducted in March. However, some papers,including  Economics, Anthropology, Geography and Sociology were cancelled due to COVID-19 outbreak. For the cancelled papers, the CHSE had announced a new evaluation scheme under which a student who had appeared in five subjects, his average marks was decided based on his top three scores. While a student who had managed to appear in four papers, his average was calculated as per the top two scores.

CHSE officials had earlier said that students, who are unhappy with their marks, can appear for improvement examination once the COVID-19 crisis subsides.

Results for Commerce and Science streams have already been released. The pass percentage of Science stream stood at 70.21 and  74.95 % for Commerce stream.
