Odisha Plus II Exam results by July end: Minister

Bhubaneswar: The results of Plus II Examination conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, will be out by end of July, informed School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash today.

The evaluation of answer sheets has completed and arrangements are being made for publication of the results of the annual Plus-II Examination-2022 in all streams by end of this month, the Minister told media.

The examination was held in offline mode between April 28 and May 31. A total of 3,21,508 students in Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational streams had appeared in the examinations at different centres across the state. While 2,13,432 students in Arts steam had registered for the examination, the number of examinees in Science stream was 78,077. Similarly, 24,136 students in Commerce stream and 5,863 students in Vocational courses had registered for the annual examination.

The evaluation of answer sheets was made in two phases – first phase from June 2-12 and second phase started from June 13 – at 65 offline evaluation centers in addition to 37 online centers. The evaluation continued till June 22.

As per official notification released earlier, the students will be assessed in two separate scheme for a paper — performance of the candidates based on their performance only in Annual HS Examination and 80% weightage on the basis of performance in Annual HS Examination and 20% weightage from the performance in quarter end Examinations.

The highest marks obtained by the students in above two schemes will be final mark in that particular paper. While calculating 20% weightage of quarter end examination and 80% weightage on annual examination, every fraction will be rounded off to the next whole number.
