Odisha Plus II Exam to be held after lockdown

Bhubaneswar: The remaining papers of annual +2 examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will be held after lockdown, informed School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash today.

Clearing the doubts of parents and examinees, the minister said that the Plus II Exam 2020 in the streams of Arts, Science and Commerce will be conducted after the lockdown period gets over. A notification for conducting postponed examinations will be issued after necessary directions received from the government. The students will be informed about new schedule a week before commencement of exam.

However, there is no chance to cancel the examinations. The Department is prepared to conduct the examination after lockdown, Dash said.

CHSE Odisha had postponed +2 examinations of all the streams with effect from March 23 till further order due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
