Odisha Plus III admission: First cut-off list declared; 1,68,537 students selected

Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education Department today released first cut-off marks for admission in Plus III courses at Degree Colleges in Odisha.

As per the data provided by the department, of the total 2,44,252 students applied, 1,68,537 have been selected. The seat strength at Degree colleges are 2,49,539.

For Arts and Commerce streams, as many as 10,48,349 and 1,10,770 students had applied respectively. Of them, 1,02,292 and 17,634 students have been selected for Arts and Commerce streams respectively.

In case of Physical and Biological Sciences, a total of 2,70,197 and 2,27,297 have applied to take admissions. Of them, 25,350 and 18,338 students have been selected for physical and biological sciences.

In case of Commerce, as many as 17,634 students have been selected. A total of 1,10,770 students had applied for admission in the stream.

For 2021-22 academic session, 75,794 male students and 92,807 female students have been selected to take admission in Degree Colleges. A total of 26 Third Gender students were selected in the first merit list.

Students can check the merit list on the two websites of the department – dhe.odisha.gov.in and samsodisha.gov.in

Students submitted an online common application form (CAF) to take part in the admission process. The last date to apply was September 4.
