Odisha police arrest two in Godipada toll gate loot case, seize Rs 2.55 lakh

Odisha police today arrested two persons for their alleged complicity in the broad daylight robbery of Rs 46 lakh from Godipada toll gate staffs on June 13.

Police also seized Rs 2.55 lakh from the duo, sources said.

Notably, unidentified miscreants had robbed four staffs of Godipada toll gate while they were on their way in a car to deposit cash in nearby Jankia branch of Punjab National Bank. The criminals waylaid them and robbed them at gunpoint on NH 16.

Police had on June 27 arrested two persons in connection with the incident.
