Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police will make public details regarding offenders against whom non-bailable warrants (NBWs) have been issued in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.

The Commissionerate Police will upload details regarding the persons facing NBWs on its website, sources said.

Till date, NBWs have been issued against 2,934 individuals in the Odisha capital and 1,185 in Cuttack, sources added.

The police will make public the names of the offenders, the crimes committed by them, relevant Sections of IPC slapped against them and their address on the website.

The Commissionerate Police has also urged the residents of the twin cities to pass information regarding these offenders to the cops.

The people of the twin cities should come forward and provide information regarding the criminals and anti-social elements to cops to keep their localities free from crimes, said the Commissionerate Police.
