Odisha polls: BJP deserter dares Dharmendra Pradhan to contest against him

Bhubaneswar: Right after pledging his alliance with Odisha’s ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD), former BJP state vice president Raj Kisore Das launched a savage attack against the Odisha face of BJP Dharmendra Pradhan.

At the induction programme in the BJD headquarters, Raj Kishore taunted Dharmendra by saying that if the BJP Chief Ministerial aspirant has the courage, then he should contest in the upcoming elections at Bijepur against BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik himself.

“The tables have turned. BJP was arrogant of its position in Mayurbhanj, but we shall destroy the party’s pride in the district with all our might. The upcoming polls will see a Mayurbhanj with zero BJP presence,” he said.

Raj Kishore also called upon Dharmendra and challenged him to contest from Morada constituency in the assembly elections.

“He does not have the capability to contest and win in panchayat or even ward elections. And he is dreaming of becoming the Chief Minister! We shall destroy this dream and dig the political grave of this Aurangzeb”, roared the political heavyweight from Mayurbhanj.

Notably, Raj Kishore, along more than a hundred supporters officially joined the conch party today, in the presence of party president Naveen Patnaik. He had submitted his resignation from the primary membership and renounced state vice presidency of BJP on Mar 23.
