Odisha polls: BJP spokesperson Biswajit Mohanty joins BJD

Bhubaneswar: BJP leader and party’s spokesperson Biswajit Mohanty today joined the Biju Janata Dal (BJD).

He was inducted into the conch party in the presence of BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik at the latter’s residence.

Mohanty, who recently quitted the saffron party, was a BJP ticket aspirant to contest the Assembly polls from Cuttack-Barabati seat. The party, however, fielded former minister Samir Dey from the constituency.
