Odisha Polls : Naveen’s property value up by Rs 4 crore since 2009

The value of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s property has gone up by Rs 4.15 crore since the 2009 elections and is now worth Rs 11.88 crore, the BJD president’s affidavit said.

The 67-year-old Chief Minister has no liabilities or investment in any company, it said.
During the 2009 Assembly polls, Patnaik had claimed to have properties worth Rs 7.73 crore while this time he has added the values of the properties in Haryana, which he has inherited from his parents.
Under the agricultural land category, the affidavit said, Patnaik has a farmhouse measuring about 22.7 acres at Tikri Khera in revenue estate Tehsil and district Faridabad in Haryana.
There is a housing structure measuring about 4,260 sq-ft at the same farm house. The approximate cost of the entire property in Haryana has been mentioned as only worth Rs 3.43 crore.
Besides, Patnaik has a share in his ancestral house Ananda Bhawan in Cuttack and Naveen Niwas here and a house in Aurangzeb Road in New Delhi.
