Odisha polls: PM Modi to hold roadshow in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister and BJP leader Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha capital on April 16 and address a public meeting at the Baramunda Ground here, informed State BJP vice-president Samir Mohanty today.

Modi will also hold a roadshow in the temple city from the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here to the meeting venue via Siripur Square, Mohanty said.

On the very day, he will also visit Sambalpur and address an election rally there, informed BJP leader Dharmendra Pradhan.

Worth mentioning, both Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur parliamentary constituencies will got to polls in the third phase of the simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Odisha on April 23.

During his recent visits to Odisha, Modi had slammed the BJD-led Odisha Government alleging that it failed to bring rapid development in the state. He had also urged Odisha people to vote in favour of BJP’s MP and MLA candidates for making party’s ‘double engine’ mission (formation of BJP government at Centre and Odisha) successful.
