Odisha: Pradhan appeals people to join mass movement against Covid

Bhubaneswar: Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan appealed the people of Odisha to join the Covid-19 awareness campaign launched today by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In order to increase the public participation in the fight against Covid-19 during ensuing festivities and prevent transmission, the Prime Minister has launched the public awareness campaign, said Pradhan.

Pradhan requested the people to adhere to the call made by the Prime Minister and take a pledge to keep themselves protected from Covid. “We will win the battle against the disease if we follow the advice of the Prime Minister,” he added.

The Union Minister urged everyone to remain cautious until Covid vaccine becomes available.

Wearing mask properly, social distancing of two meters and hand washing should be practiced by the people, he appealed.
